Glutathione helps protect cells from free radical damage as an antioxidant, but it can also covalently attach to proteins through its sulfhydryl moiety upon derivatization by reactive oxygen species (ROS). Glutathione protein adducts can therefore serve as a marker of oxidative stress. OxiSelect s-Glutathione Adduct Competitive ELISA test kit quantifies the glutathionylation of proteins in a standard 96-well plate.

Upon receipt, aliquot and store the Anti-s-Glutathione Adduct Antibody, s-Glutathione-BSA Standard, s-Glutathione Conjugate and 100X Conjugate Diluent at -20ºC to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Store all other components at 4ºC.

Human ELISAs or ELISA kits will be stored at +4°C. The expiry date is mostly determined by the standard stability. If your ELISA kit is expired we can supply a new standard so it will still be functional.
